The following was again before the House in third reading: HOUSE BILL NO. 144 "An Act relating to fees for certain costs of administering the permanent fund dividend program." HB 144 Representative Ulmer moved and asked unanimous consent that HB 144 be returned to second reading for the specific purpose of considering Amendment No. 1. There being no objection, it was so ordered. Amendment No. 1 offered by Representative Navarre: 1993-03-22 House Journal Page 0737 HB 144 Page 1,line 9: Delete "fees" Insert "fee for a claim" Page 1, line 10: Delete "claims and assignments" Insert "claim" Following the period: Insert "The fee for an assignment may not exceed $10 and no more than one assignment fee per dividend may be charged." Representative Ulmer moved and asked unanimous consent that Amendment No. 1 be adopted. Representative Martin objected. ***The presence of Representative Therriault was noted. The question being: "Shall Amendment No. 1 be adopted?"
